  1. That's such a cute craft! It seems perfect for a classroom setting because it is not too complicated or messy. I think crafts are always a great way to teach students because it is a fun way to remember what would otherwise be boring facts. They also allow students to express their own creativity. I wish I would have seen this idea sooner because I would have loved to do it with the little boy I nanny. He is always asking if I brought a project for us to do and I know he would love it. I'll just have to remember it for next year!

  2. As a teacher's assistant as a pre-school It's hard to find crafts to make that are educational and easy enough for the kid's to do mostly on their own! I think this is an awesome and easy craft! It's very educational for the children on what is on the inside of a pumpkin! I definitely will be be bringing this craft in as an idea for next year.

  3. My mom owns a preschool and we actually did a craft like this not too long ago in her Pre-K 4 class. This type of craft helps children practice many skills that are very important. They use their fine motor skills by cutting and pasting the different sized pieces of paper. They also learn new vocabulary words. Lastly, they could write the different parts with help from a teacher, and practice their writing. One thing that we did differently was use real pumpkin seeds. They can be bought at the dollar store! Overall, this is a very fun, festive and educational craft!
